THRACE. Chersonesos. Circa 386-338 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.47 g). Forepart of a lion right, head turned back to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with two raised and two sunken squares; rosette in one quarter, pellet in another. HGC 3.2, 1437. McClean 4073. SNG Copenhagen 842 var. Perfectly centered and with lovely iridescent toning, a wonderful piece. Good very fine.
